With the objective of recognising individual teacher educator endeavouring experimental/innovative teaching practices in the field of teacher education, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has instituted awards titled "Best Teacher Educator Award" at national level in 2019. First, Best Teacher Educator Award 2019 has been conferred to 14 Teacher Educators at National Level for their finest contributions, merit and efficiency in the field of teacher education.
