This division was established after implementation of Rights to Information Act, 2005 and decided to deal/ reply sought by the public from NCTE under the provision in this RTI Act, 2005. According to the provision in the Act, NCTE has decided to depute Public Information Officers in each individual divisions and one Central Public Information Officer and First Appellate Authority to dispose of the matter pertaining to Right to Information and if the applicant is not satisfied with reply, then he/she make a 2nd appeal before Central Information Commission, New Delhi for their final decision.

Activities

This divisions has been receiving RTI applications from general public, teacher pupil, various State Agencies, sister organizations, Ministries and Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India u/clause 6 (3) of the Right to Information Act,2005 within the stipulated time under the Act and charged fee (Rupees Ten through postal order/cash) As present every Division at NCTE Head Quarters , New Delhi have individual Public Information Officers and also decided to depute Public Information Officers/First Appellate Authority in every Regional Committee of NCTE. They have disposed of Right to Information applications at their own level.
